Songs are deleted after power-down

My Question or Issue

I have the problem that all downloaded songs are deleted when my cellphone is turned off. I contacted Spotify before and they told me that the cashe is damaged, so I deleted the cache and reinstalled Spotify but the problem shows up again and again. Any ideas how to fix that?

Is spotify's cache stored on an external SD card? If so. is the card encrypted?

Not encrypted
I tried both, SD and device memory but it didn't fix the problem.
