Songs are downloaded, but artists aren't in library

I have 2K or more songs downloaded from the past year or so that I've had Spotify Premium. With an update months ago, they all disappeared. Then they came back. I re-downloaded them and now, only certain artists are in my library under Artists. No matter what I do, it won't add the other artists to choose from. Please help fix this issue. Having to go to playlists or recently played or search to find a song is very irritating.
