Songs are unexpectedly resumed during daily mix playback

My Question or Issue

During playback of the Daily Mix, some songs are unexpectedly resumed to a position somewhere in the middle of the song (could be a position at which I skipped the song in the past, I can't tell)

This happened several days in a row, and I think it was on the same songs.

Start daily mix

Plays song 1 normally

Plays song 2 normally

...

Starts song N from the middle of it, completes song

Starts song N+1 from the middle of it, completes song

Plays song N+2 normally

...
