On the phone, they are grayed out, even doing search. Both the desktop and the phone are on the same WiFi network. I have tried to logout/login, reinstall, clear cache on the phone app. Nothing worked.
Any ideas?
They're not available as local files on the PC by any chance?
100% positive. I don't have any local songs.
Any chance of the spotify URI for one of these songs - easiest from desktop client. Which country are you in?
Thanks Joe for helping out!
Here is the URI for one of such songs, in fact, the whole album shows no playable song on my phone. Meanwhile, I am playing those songs on my desktop and the phone app can be used as a remote. (I have tried to close all desktop players, that didnt' help either.)

I am in the U.S. This happens with both my home network and at work.
Strange. It plays for me on android and the album is definitely available in the US. What if you add the album to a new playlist in the desktop client - will it play on your mobile then?
I'm wondering if the chinese characters are causing problems in spotify. If the playlist won't play, I suggest you use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, please reply to it by email and you will hear back from one of the team shortly.
Yeah, that is truly strange, I installed the App and logged in from another Android device, a tablet, same thing, those songs are just not playable no matter how I mess up with playlist.
Guess I have to send a support ticket.
Thanks,
