Songs skipping

I have an android phone. Sometimes my songs skip around - the song will start to play then it skips to the next song, or sometimes a bunch of songs. Not certain if it's Android or specifically my phone. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling. I tried higher quality downloading and streaming. Nothing is working. I have the 4G lite HTC.

Have a look at your running apps. You might have one that eats a lot of memory and prevents Spotify from using that memory (and God knows it needs a lot of it...).

Had that problem with bluetooth playback and it's gone since I uninstalled a single app (Wimbledon Championships... Looks harmless right?). Just that made Spotify work flawlessly and much, much faster than before.
