Songs weirdly starting where i left off when i put them in the queue

My Question or Issue

Sometimes on my phone a song plays where i last played it if i put it in the queue.

So to explain in simpler terms what would happen sometimes is something like this:
1. I start my Playlist listening to Song A until 1:30 minutes in.
2. I stop listening and around 20 minutes later start the playlist where i left off, the song finishes
3. The next song in the playlist starts (lets call it song B) (im listening on shuffle mostly if that's relevant)
4. I put song A in the queue to listen to it again
5. Song B plays normally and finishes
6. Then song A starts from the queue that i put it in but it starts at 1:30 minutes in again instead of from the start

I really want help for this issue because it can kind of ruin the listening experience and when im trying to show a song to a friend for example it also kind of "spoils" the middle of it.

To make it clear: this issue does not occur everytime i put a song in the queue that i want to listen to again.

This sounds like a weird issue indeed. Can you let us know if it's happening only when you're listening on your phone, or on other devices as well?

It would also be helpful if you let us know your current Spotify app version.

I mostly use my phone and sometimes i play spotify on pc and i dont recall it ever happening on PC.

My app bersion (according to app info in android fyi) is 8.8.56.538.

I have the same issue as the person above. Here's another related scenario:

1. I listen to song A for x minutes and y seconds (x and y could be anything, it doesn't matter).
2. I pause listening for a while (for more than a few minutes. I couldn't get to reproduce the issue by not playing songs for a couple of minutes).
3. I add the same song A to the queue n times and start playing the song (not that I'm not on repeat, I manually added the same song to the queue to listen to it back-to-back).
4. When song A ends and the queue of song A begins, it starts exactly starts at x minutes and y seconds every time in the queue. 
5. Even if I seek song A to play from the beginning and re-add it to the queue, it still begins at x minutes and y seconds as long as song A is in the queue. 

I'm using Spotify Android premium, version 8.8.56.538
