Sound cuts out briefly at beginning of songs.

Recently my mobile app has had an issue when I skip to the next song. At the beginning of each song it plays a second, cuts out a second, then plays as normal. Each song does this. I have a premium account and am using a One Plus One. I first cleared the cache, then all app data, and then reinstalled twice. I restarted my phone a few times during this process. Nothing has helped thus far.

I have the same problem with the same device. But additionally after the little break the songs sounds wired. Like my speakers would be in a metal can.

I have the same problem on a laptop with a Premium account.  It sounds like a skipping CD right at the start of the track as if it is slow to cache.  It shouldn't be slow to cache as I'm on a fibre broadband connection.
