My Question or Issue

Hi

I am using Spotify on a Google TV (Sony). TV is connected HDMI to a 3.1 speaker setup via amp. Spotify on Google TV uses all speakers including front centre channel, so not in stereo. Casting from phone to amp plays in stereo correctly.

TV Spotify is very convenient. Is there any way to force Spotify to output in 2.1?

Currently there's no direct feature in the TV app where you can select the specific speakers, however you might be able to adjust some of the speaker settings through the menu on your TV or through your amplifier.
