Spotify Premium Car Issues

I own a 2009 VW Jetta and constantly listen to my offline playlist, recently i have noticed that the audio from spotify does not come out of my right side passenger speaker. I use an AUX cable and have tried other phones with their default music players and have tried my own and both speakers work. Its just every time I use Spotify, the sound only comes form the left side. The balance for both speakers in car is centered too. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

First time I've heard that. I suspect it's a hardware issue, but try a clean install first.
