Spotify/Waze functionality.

My Question or Issue

 I've recently bought a new phone with the latest version of Android. I regularly use Waze and Spotify at the same time but I've noticed that since the change the lock screen notification of 'Waze is connected' is persistent even when I've phsically closed Waze down from background apps. This is stopping me from being able to change track without having to unlock my phone... Frustrating to say the least! Any help would be appreciated.

Could you let us know what operating system and Spotify version you're using? Also, we'd recommend reinstalling both apps. You can reinstall Spotify by following the steps at https://support.spotify.com/article/reinstallation-of-spotify/.
