Spotify app for Windows 10 - Windows phones, Tablets, PC and Xbox One

When 'force RTL Layout' is selected in the android developer options, the Spotify app will open, but closes after any action is taken.

The version of Spotify is 5.7.0.781

The version of andriod is 5.1.1

Previous versions of the app have worked fine with 'Force RTL Layout' selected. I uninstalled the app and re installed it from the play store and it still closes after any action with RTL layout selected. Is there any way to make the app work with RTL layout selected?
