Spotify app keeps lagging and freezing when scrolling playlist

My Question or Issue

I use the Spotify app on my Android tablet every day and I have a large playlist that I listen to regularly. Recently I have been experiencing a bug where while scrolling the playlist it will stop suddenly and won't let me scroll for several seconds also when this happens it will sometimes register that I am trying to swipe side to side like I am trying to add to the queue when I am clearly attempting to scroll up or down. This makes it extremely difficult to navigate the playlist. I have tried clearing the cash, restarting my device, logging out and back in and even uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify but the problem is still there. I have searched for a solution for days with no success and this is my last resort. I hope someone here can help me otherwise I may have to find another music streaming service to use.

Adding tracks to the queue works fine again (like expected), including haptic feedback. Thank you for the fast fix, awesome!

Yeah fix from this video works well. 
But it seems that yesterday's update of the app (x64 on Windows) to version 1.2.57.463 resolved the scrolling issue on my PC.

I've had a bug in Spotify since the IUI 7.0 Android 15 update. I'm experiencing enormous delays loading my library, playlists, switching between tracks (loading the image for the track), and a delayed response when pausing and playing. Or, if I close Spotify out of frustration, it continues playing for a while. There's often a delay and a wait time of 15 to 20 seconds. I have a Samsung A35. Spotify version 9.0.62.622. I've tried everything. Clearing the cache, disabling background apps, updating Spotify, logging in and out again, deleting the app and resetting it, turning off battery saver. I've even reset the factory settings. Switching between tracks works once, and then I have all the problems again. I pay for it, but I'm getting incredibly annoyed because I can't use it now. I've had the IUI since early June 2025, which is almost August now.
