Solved!

Spotify app not found on 2016 Ford Fiesta Sony Sync radio

Hi,

I've had my 2016 Ford Fiesta since July and while I've had minor issues with the Spotify app playing from my Nexus 5x via bluetooth. it's been manageable until now (having to stop the car and open the door and then restart the engine to make the radio find Spotify.

Now my car won't even find the app at all and I'm losing my mind!

Anyone else had similar problems and know how to fix it?

Thanks,

Gail

I've also installed the previous version and it now works.
I've tweeted them and asked if they're going to fix it and they just said they'll 'pass my comments into the relevant folks'!

same problem

My boyfriend has just been looking at it and was able to connect no problem.
He has version 6.9 of Spotify on his Nexus 5.
He then updated his app to version 7, which is the same as the one I have and now it doesn't work.
So basically Spotify doesn't support the Ford Sync system with the new version.
Hopefully this is something they're looking to fix asap. I don't listen to music anywhere but my car so will be cancelling if they don't fix it.

I have the same problem. Updated Spotify app today and my Ford Fiesta no longer finds app. This is very annoying if not rectified
