Spotify connect playing on different devices after ads

This problem only occurs when playing through a bluetooth speaker, and after an ad has finished playing. When playing spotify using my PC connected to a bluetooth speaker, music will begin playing from the speaker on my android phone after an ad has finished. Music will stop playing from the bluetooth speaker, and my phone's bluetooth is off as well with the Spotify app inactive.

This occurs for every bluetooth speaker I have used, but I have not been able to test this on other PCs and phones because I don't own multiple ones. I also wish that there could be a way to disable Spotify connect other than using offline mode which is unavailable for free users (this would also sort of fix the issue I'm having).
