Spotify crashes or stops on start up when using home wi-fi. Walkman android 9.

My Question or Issue

Spotify starts up but wont go to home screen, shows a library list, screen unresponsive then crashes, saying Spotify stopped. Reinstalled still no different, cleared cache, reset router. Works fine on tablet and phone. Crashes even when off-line. Seems like a corrupted download. Sometimes I can get it to play before it crashes. Worked fine the day before yesterday?

Any ideas?

Kudos for the troubleshooting you’ve tried so far and for the info provided. If the app is installed on an SD card, it might be a good idea to move it to the device's internal storage. You can follow this Sony guide to do it. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
