Spotify deleting downloaded songs

Randomly Spotify will delete all but a song or two from most of my downloaded albums. Playlists are unaffected. This has happened across two phones now, after clearing the offline devices and reinstalling the app, wiping cache, data, restarting the phone. I'm getting fed up. This shouldn't be an issue, just keep music downloaded ffs.
