My Question or Issue

I've had this app for a long time and have had no trouble with it until the newest update. I've tried uninstalling, updating everything, cleaning the cache of the phone and Spotify, a clean install, and nothing works. I've looked on other threads but to no avail and honestly frustrated that I can't use Spotify anymore.

Would you mind letting us know if the same thing happens when you try to use the app from a different device?

 

Also, could you send over the exact Android version running on your phone?

It works fine on my laptop, I don't have another andriod or phone to try it on. 

 

Also, it is version 9

Thanks for getting back to us. 

 

Could you send over a screenshot or a video where we can see exactly what happens with the app? You can attach them using the Insert Photos or Insert Video options in the post editor.  

 

Also, let us know if you're using an SD card. This will help us take a deeper look at the issue.

It sits on this loading screen indefinitely.

 

I have an SD card that use to be connected to spotify but it hasn't since I uninstalled it a week or two ago for troubleshooting.

 

I just now tried removing the SD card, but it did not help.

Thanks for this info! 

 

In this case, we'd suggest uninstalling the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app.

 

Let us know if you notice any difference.

It seems to be working now. Is it safe to put my SD card back in?

It is no longer working and my SD card is not in the phone.

 

What can I do now?
