Spotify goes offline when switching from wifi to data

My Question or Issue

Since a couple weeks now, when I'm disconnected of a wifi network, Spotify is switching to offline mode itself even though it is turned off and that I have full wireless internet access. All of my phone settings are allowing data usage while not on wifi. Please help!!

Sorry to hear this. Could you check to see if offline mode is off by following these steps:

1. Tap Your Library .
2. Tap Settings .
3. Tap Playback.
4. Switch off Offline.

The offline mode has always been switched off... Switched it on than off
again, doesn't help...

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I have the exact same problem! I came here to look for smth that might help. I dont really know if its only when i am using mobile data but I am guessing as much since I only use spotify outside and rarely with a wifi connection. 

Also logged out and back in already, deleted the cache and re-installed the app. 

My spotify version is 8.4.64.555 armV7 and I am using a Nokia 3 Android version 8.0.0
