Spotify goes online on its own

Even though I constantly put spotify on offline mode (for etc while I work, or go to sleep), it is on online mode the next time I put the app on again. It is eating up all my internet data every month! And that is such a bother.

Anybody with the same problem? And how can I solve this? I can't use my phone as I want to anymore.

I've never heard of this happening. Could you try a clean reinstall following the instructions in this post to see if it cures it.

I did as the instructions said, and now the playlists won't show up at all if I don't go online first...
