Spotify keeps closing when entering "fullscreen" view...

I've got the latest version of Spotify (to be exact 6.3.0.882) on my phone (Xiaomi Note 3 Pro running Android 5.1).

If tap on the bar on the bottom of the app, the one that show what is currently playing Spotify crashes immiediately and exists. From that point on I cannot open the app, beacause it tries to open the same screen.

The only thing I've found that works is to clear the data, maybe reinstall the app, just force it somehow to not open that screen.

Sometimes it crashes without me taping that "bar", I imagine that the app transitions to this "fullscreen" view and the problem just occurs again.

Anyone has idea how to resolve this issue?
