Spotify keeps playing shuffle and icon won't appear and it keeps adding "we suggested" songs

My Question or Issue

 I'm new to Spotify and I've encountered a problem. Whenever I try and listen to my play list I have to click shuffle play, and when I click on a song where it normally shows the shuffle button on other devices show a shuffle button mine shows a like, so my play list keeps shuffling. This is more annoying because it keeps playing suggested songs and not the ones I've added. I've looked online for ages and I've seen things like "turn off autoplay" etc but those options have not worked for me so far. Can someone help me turn off shuffle and suggested songs please?
