My Question or Issue

Hey everyone, first timer here so bear with me🙈.

I’ve been using the Spotify Family Plan with my family as per normal for about a year. Lately, I’ve gone to use the app and Spotify is logged out and when I log back in, and all my downloads are gone. The grey download icon is there, but as if the playlist was never downloaded. I also checked the ‘Storage’ section and it shows a large amount of space taken up, but it just says ‘other’ and 0.0 mb for ‘Downloads’. The Storage is also reset to my phone’s internal storage rather than my SD card, where it usually is.

Its worth noting that I don’t use Spotify with my mobile data, I download over wi-fi, then I listen to my downloads. I also used to have it in ‘Offline mode’ but would never go the 21 days without going back online, after it became a regular thing of using it like that and Spotify telling me that I had to go back online to be able to log in again, I used it as if I just didn’t have an internet cnnection, with the ‘Offline Mode’ off. Its happened again, nontheless.

The only thing I could look to blame, is that I have the same account logged into my iPad, which is regularly connected to wi-fi at home then school, and I use the account regularly. Could it be that Spotify is confused and doesn’t know what to do?

I’ve checked my devices on my account page and sometimes 2 Galaxy s10’s pop up so I keep the latest and delete the oldest. As I was writing this I decided to check and this came up: (image somewhere...)

Thank you guys for taking the time with this, this placed has helped me heaps before with silly things from Spotify, I hope it does again!

Hey @MGH01,

Thanks for reaching out to us and sending us a screenshot with all the info you provided!

Please do a clean reinstall as explained here. Let us know if that helps. If not, could you tell us if you use an SD card?

We're here for you 🙂
