Spotify not working on android

Hello,

I cannot do anything you sugested on this forum because when I click the icon the screen becomes black and that is it, it goes back to home page! In Play store does not appear so I am going on a web page and click on download and takes me to Play store...but there I could update it...I did not want to uninstall it because I have all that music downloaded and if I do that again it will consume all my trafic. I downloaded all my music whenever I found a wi-fi.

Can you please help me?
