Spotify on Android mobile not connecting to iphone

I am on premium plan, using Spotify on my android device (Sony Xperia Z2) and iphone 8. Everything was working fine and I could control every device from the other smoothly. Then suddenly the android device cannot connect to the iphone over 4g. It even does not recognize its existence, although it plays songs normally. Once I switch to wifi when I am home, the device starts to recognize the iphone, even if the iphone is not connected to the wifi!

Could you let us know if you’re still having troubles with this? If you are, can you let us know if you've already tried to log out > restart your devices > log back in?

It's also a good idea to try a clean reinstall on both phones to clear any old files that might be causing issues.
