Spotify on a car android player (very low end device)

Hi ppl,

I need to use spotify on my car android player which has the below limited resources:
-Android version: 4.1.1

-CPU: Cortex A9 Dual Core

-RAM: DDR3 1GB

-Screen Size: 6.75"

-Display resolution: 800x480

I have tried the latest version, however it seems to barely work. When it rarely works, it plays one song and doesn't start the next one.

Can you please advise with the version (and possibly the link) of a version I can play as smoothly as possible with the above specs?
