Spotify on my Gear S3 Classic

Spotify on my Gear S3 Classic



I've been trying to get Spotify to work properly on my smartwatch and whenever I try to login (with wifi enabled) so I can get offline playlists and the works, it just tells me to get premium. I do have premium but it's premium family that I'm paying for, for the family. I can't seem to get around that and I really don't want to go back to regular premium since the rest of the family is on as well. Phone I'm using is an S8 and everything is up to date.

It's odd that you're unable to use the Gear S3 in Offline, you shouldn't have any trouble with regular Premium or the Family plan.


Let's make sure you don't have multiple Spotify accounts by following these steps. You might be logging in to the wrong account which is causing this.


If you only have one Spotify account, and you're sure it's linked to the Premium for Family plan, try reinstalling the app both on the phone and watch before trying again.


You can also try un-pairing and pairing the phone to your watch again to see if it helps.
