Spotify overlapping GUI

For some reason my spotify keeps overlapping when I back off the app and open it. I have to close it completely to be able to see anything. I have a Note 8 and I'll include a screenshot.

I'm having the same problem on my Oneplus 5. Have to restart the app completely to fix at the moment

Yep, having exactly the same issue. Seems to be getting worse. Incredibly frustrating! Any acknowledgment of this bug or potential fix, Spotify?

Seen a couple of other posts about this. Have you tried reinstalling spotify using these steps?
