Spotify showing up in notification bar when another device plays music.

Hello, I have Spotify premium and have had it for quite sometime now. My fiance and I share my account together. Naturally she enjoys Spotifys features that allow her to make a gym Playlist on a whim when she heads there. Is there anyway to turn off the notifications on my phone as she constantly shuffles through her music on her phone and vice versa? It's kind of annoying to say the least.

Welcome at the Spotify Community!

This is a new feature to use your smartphone as remote for the other device. This new feature is part of Spotify Connect, however I agree that it's quite annoying. 

I don't know if that might be disabled in future releases.

There's a stcky at the top of this forum giving suggestions of how to disable this feature until/if Spotify introduce a dedicted switch.
