Spotify shuts off after 2-3 songs

Hello,

Anytime I run Spotify on my Android and the screen is off... it auto-shutdowns after 2-3 songs. Is there any way to rectify this?

Does the app actually close or is it that songs just pause?

There does seem to be an issue with the latest app where tracks are pausing by themselves.

If that's not the issue then the first thing to try is a clean install.

It doesn't matter if I start mid-song or at the beginning. After roughly 10 minutes or so it will automatically pause the last song and revert back to the beginning, paused. The app does not shut off. Strange. I'll try a re-install and see if that fixes anything.

Just so you are aware of had been identified that tracks are pausing by themselves after a period of listening. Hoping for a fix soon.

I think you're are experiencing the same issue. Annoying... Especially when in the car!
