Spotify stopping randomly and not re-opening

I've been having the issue that Spotify is stopping when I open it sometimes. It usually happens only after I've opened it and then closed it, but sometimes will happen during the first time I try to open it after I restart my phone, which is the only thing that helps. Regardless whether I report it or hit okay, it loads to a blank gray screen and will not work.

I have completely reinstalled the app several times, deleted cached files and data, and the mobi file. I saw a couple other people having the same issue and found that it was connected to Facebook, so I reinstalled Facebook just to be on the safe side and logged in to Spotify with and without my Facebook log in, and it still happens.

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S5, running Android 4.4.2 (not rooted).

Does anyone have any other solutions?

Does your device have an SD card in it? If so I would try re-installing with the SD card removed to see if that makes any difference.
