Spotify through bluetooth in car not loading entire playlist

I was wondering if anyone else has this issue. After getting a new phone (Pixel 2xl), whenever I play music through spotify in my car, instead of loading the whole playlist, it loads just one song. What I mean is, it'll play the song, and show all the metadata, but it will show the track number as "0" and won't show any other songs in the playlist. Once it finishes that song, it'll go into whatever song is next. This causes two problems:

1) It keeps no shuffle memory. Before, when I played a playlist on shuffle, it'll play through the whole playlist and stop. Now it just randomly plays songs and sometimes plays the same one multiple times.

2) When I view the queue from my console, it will only list the song that I am currently playing.
