Spotify took over my Playlist!

I have a free Spotify account. I created a playlist when I opened my account and have been adding music to my playlist up until a few days ago. Now my playlist no longer has my username next to my Playlist title. It has (By Spotify) instead of (By "my username"). I can no longer edit my playlist add/delete songs. And it has a created date next to it. Which is the day it started not allowing me on my playlist. Now I'm just a follower to a playlist I created! How did that happen? How do I get control of my playlist again? It's also not in my playlist drop down list anymore. It is only in my played history in my library. Help! 😞
