Spotify turns shuffle and repeat off when selecting new songs

For the past few days I've been having this problem. I'll select a song and set shuffle and repeat on. Then I'll go to a different playlist or album and select a new song, and Spotify has turned shuffle and repeat off. It also happens sometimes when I leave the app and go back to it. Don't really want to delete and re-download the app as I have capped internet at home, but if no one has any better ideas I guess I'll have to.

Suffering from this very same problem.  I have seen a lot of this issue and Spotify team with no response in site . I guess they are hoping it's users are able to solve THEIR problems for them .
