Spotify users not showing up in search

For the past few days, I have been unable to find any users by searching their names in the search bar. I can still search for people I'm following but I cannot follow anyone new without looking at one of my friend's followers.

Wondering the same thing. Did the feature change with the newest update or will we be able to search for new friends again?

Same here, using mine and another account

Same. Only facebook friends and verified artists show up

I was having this same issue but I found if you search using this "spotify:user:" then it works. Hope that helps!

That only works if you know their username.
