Storage on SD one big lie from this Spotify for which I pay at about 10 EUR per month

My Question or Issue

 YI am having Android, newest version, and nothing is wrong with my phone, nor with myself. You write in your manual it would be easy to save offline files on the sd card. Just go to the library, go to settings, go to storage and just tell the system where to save the file. 

WELL MR SPOTIFY. THAT DOES NOT WORK. SINCE LONG LONG TIME YOU ADVICE ALL KIND OF THINGS TO RESINSTALL, DELETE, PERHAPS EVEN BUYING A NEW PHONE. AND EVEN THAT, DOES NOT WORK EITHER.

I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER - I GUESS SINCE AT ABOUT 10 YEARS. I USE THE APP DAILY AND SOMETIMES I DRIVE IN MY CAR OR RIDE ON MY BIKE AND WANT TO LISTEN SOME  DOWNLOADED MUSIC. AND THEN MY PHONE IMMEDIATELY RUNS OUT OF MEMORY WHILE THERE IS A 64GB NEARLY EMPTY SD CARD ON BOARD.

SO. JUST CONFIRM ME SAVING OFFLINE FILES ON SD CARD IS NOT POSSIBLE. IN THAT CASE I CAN CONSIDER TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP AND SWITCH TO ANOTHER MUSIC PROGRAMM. OTHERWISE. COME UP WITH A MANUAL. HOW SIMPLE IT CAN BE. DO WHAT YOU PROMISE TO DO.

Ik dacht ook dat het niet werkte, ook gezocht op de community pages. Diverse ngen geprobeerd, werkte niet. Vervolgens de vraag ingeschoten bij de NL helpdesk. In 2e instantie goed geholpen met dit verhaal:

We hebben je account bekeken en we zien dat er iets is misgegaan met de offline bestanden op je apparaten. Het lijkt erop dat de cache is beschadigd en dat deze is ontkoppeld van de app.

Geen zorgen, als je deze link volgt, kun je je offline apparaten resetten. Daarna moet je Spotify opnieuw installeren. Volg daarvoor deze stappen. Hiermee worden onnodige verbindingen tussen je telefoon en je Spotify-account verwijderd. Let op: je moet na afloop je offline afspeellijsten opnieuw synchroniseren.

Vervolgens kon ik onder instellingen en klikkend op Opslag WEL de SD card zien en alles wordt daar nu netjes opgeslagen.

NB: ik vind dat je nogal aangebrand reageert, met een wat mildere toonzetting krijg je denk ik meer gedaan, maar in Ieder geval suc6.
