Synching new songs added to playlists

I have 1 playlist downloaded for offline listening.  If I go back online and add a new song to the playlist, does it automatically synch and download the next time I connect to wifi, or do I have to manually re-synch the entire playlist again?

Also, if I have the setting for Download over 2G/3G set to Off, does that mean it will only download over wi-fi (which is what I want)?

It should sync automatically for you.
