Takes forever to get some music playing

If I just want to hit "shuffle play" and get some random music playing from my offline library, I often have to wait several minutes just to get the shuffle play button to appear after navigating to "all songs."  There should be a shortcut.  I shouldn't need to wait for it to try and load the entire library of songs onto the screen with album art and everything just to get some music playing.
