Takes very long to find chromecast

I press a button to power my speakers and a chromecast audio.

I wait a little while, chromecast is not showing in spotify.

I switch to Google Home, the chromecast is showing as ready to cast.

I go back ro Spotify, sometimes I can now se my chromecast and connect, sometimes not. Then I kill Spotify, restarts it, and maybe the chromecast is showing. Maybe not...

... but I can mirror the sound to the chromecast in Google Home.

This behaviour has been persistent over 3 months. Both Chromecast and Spotify are set to autoupdate. Same behaviour on my Galaxy S7 and Xperia Z3 Tablet.

I have reinstalled my chromecast, tested with guest mode on or off, thou not used the devices nearby option in spotify since it should not be nescessary. However I pressed it once by accident and could not get spotify to stop attemting to connect. Tried to kill spotify, restarted, and it asked me if I wanted to continue listening on nearby device...
