This Song is not Available - On all songs

While trying to stream music over the Internet (data not wifi) every song comes up as "This Song is not Available." If I log out and log back in several times it will eventually let me play music. Also if I am on the Internet or using data and playing music and my screen is off the music will stop after each song. If I turn the screen on then the music continues. Don't say check this or that because I know it's a Spotify issue. I've checked around and I am not the only one having this issue. I am not being throttled or anything else.

Hi @Doxboi have you tried reinstalling the software? What OS, handset etc are you operating with? Is it a recent development or has it always done it? Have you googled known issues with your specific handset/OS?

If all else fails you can get spotify help on:

I am using a Note 4 and it has done this for a long time. I've looked everywhere and the only answer I get is log out and log back in. Uninstall and reinstall does not fix it. Deleting cache doesn't help.

Perhaps in that case try the following (I lifted them from another post on the forum):

1) If your device contains an SD card, try removing it.
2) Try logging into Spotify over a different Internet connection, if possible.
Ask a friend or family member to sign into Spotify on your device. See if the issue is persisting on their account too. If yes, the issue is the device and can likely be solved with more troubleshooting.
3) Change settings within the app: Sync quality, Stream Quality, Gapless Playback, Crossfade. See if a different combination of these settings makes a difference.

4) Make sure there's enough free storage space on the device

5) Restart the device (remove the battery for 30 seconds if possible).

If all that fails then use the contact forms on the last message and get in touch direct.
