My Question or Issue

My Spotify works fime with Alexa onto my Spotify enabled Yamaha Receiver, Denon HEOS soundbar, and normal Echo devices however ....

I want to connect my phone to a normal Bluetooth speaker (non-Alexa) enabled and be able to use my Voice to tell Spotify to skip songs from within one big Playlist.

Can it be done ?  The Interweb seems to think that it can be done from the Spotify Android App (I can't see it - US Only ?)  and also that "OK Google" should be able to do it - I can't make that work ...

Is it do-able ?
