Unable to add facebook friends

I logged in with my Facebook account and then tried the Find Friends option. It says "sorry, we couldn't load friends to follow" every time. I also tried the same thing with android where it says "sorry something went wrong, please have another go".

I went through past solutions, like removing the spotify app from Facebook apps list and logging in again, that didn't work. Does anyone know any solution to this?

Same problem here. "Find Friends" works on my desktop, but not on my iPhone or iPad.
