What happened to an artist I follow?

So one artist I follow, Baby Genius, used to be an artist I listened to frequently. Only this morning, I discovered that all but a few of their songs have been rendered unplayable. Is there an app issue that caused this? Or did something happen with copyright and there's nothing I can do? Google yielded no helpful results.
