What happened to the equalizer in the latest Android app?

Just noticed that the equalizer is gone from settings in the latest app.  I was already on the latest version, but I uninstalled and reinstalled anyway.  No difference.  Help on the website still shows equalizer setting as available in Android app.  Google search turned up nothing.  If this feature is gone, why?  I use it all the time when switching between my headphones and BT speaker which have very different sound profiles.

Nvrmnd, realized it was a phone update that killed the eq in android.  Installed a 3rd party eq, restarted spotify and I have an eq back.

The Equalizer that you'll find within the Spotify app is actually a mirror of your device's equalizer. We're glad you were able to find a workaround to this situation.
