When I search for a song it says "Ooops, something went wrong"

Even after hitting then try again button nothing happens. I restarted my phone and cleared all data but the app. Still failed. Any ideas what might be wrong?

I am having the same issue. I am using a LG G4 on Android 6.0 spotify version 8.4.0.539 arm V7. I have re-installed the app, restarted the phone, and removed the ability for the app to use the power save functions. This issue still remains. Please advise.
