There is no counter in the app I'm afraid so you'll need to count them. Alternatively, you can do this more easily on the spotify desktop client by selecting all songs (select one then hit ctrl-a to select all) and start to drag them towards a playlist in the left column. A pop-up will appear showing the total number of songs selected.
