Why are my local files not showing up?

None of my local files are showing up in my mobile app, I've tried opening the files with Spotify and nothing happens it just shows me the empty playlist, reset phone multiple times and app is up to date, pixel 5a Android 13

In this case, we'd like to gather as much info as possible. Are these files hosted on your mobile device or are you trying to sync them from an external device, like a computer? This info will help us to better understand what's happening on your side.

We'd like to add some initial insights. So, take into account that if the files are hosted on your mobile device, you have to make sure to activate the Show local audio files option in the settings of the app. Once you've done that, they should appear in your library in a folder, namely Local files. From there you can add them to the playlists you'd like. You can read more about it in this article.

On another note, if you already check this detail in the app's settings, but the inconvenience persists, we'd suggest performing a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app on your device. This process cleans any damaged cache that might be stored in it. You can give it a try by following the steps in this article.
