Why can't I as a premium member download any songs/playlists onto my phone for offline listening?

I have Spotify Premium, but for the past couple weeks everytime I've tried to download songs for offline listening on my Galaxy S5 I've received the message: 

"SYNCING ERROR: Offline syncing has stopped as there's no space left on this device."

despite the fact that I have PLENTY of space on my phone (over 3GB). 

What technical issue could I have?

Have you already tried to reinstall Spotify on your Android device? It might help to solve your problem. 

To reinstall Spotify on Android, please follow all the steps correctly as given in this topic.

Please let me know if that didn't work.
