This just happened to me again yesterday! Very annoying spotify! Experienced this twice since. I was unexpectedly logged out and when i signed back in all my playlist were all undownloaded. So i have to download each one again and it was a really annoying.. How many times do i have to repeat this process? Please fix this spotify!

I discovered this problem today after assuming that the 8 hour road trip today would be well covered by my Spotify downloads. But all that would play were six songs I added last night. Does this mean that I have redownload after every addition. If so, it is not worth the $14 we pay each month to have it.

Has been happening the last week for me now. Have to redownload 2600 songs each time this happens. Thanks Spotify please fix this!

I dont make playlist... or just havent but it does the same thing with my entire library. They will be downloaded then a few days later i go to play the music then have to redownload. Very very annoying. It shows all my music is on SD card but have to redownload i cancled went to google play music and so that way i could also listen to local files. Well google play music decided that i wasnt connected to the Internet, even though i was. Sigh i know these things aren't gonna be perfect but if a issue occurs like these and tend to happen over long period of time then thats BS cuz we pay for this $H¡T least they could do for the ones making them money is fix the issues that come with their services.

4 YEARS !!! after the first post, the bug is still there... today all my downloaded music has gone for 4th time... come on... I simply switch to other service

I can confirm the issue, I have 2 different android devices (An S7 with android Nougat and a TAB S2 9.7 with Marshmallow) and every day I have to redownload a variable number of songs on both devices. The number can be anything from a few to hundrends or thousands of songs.

The thing that irritates me most is that spotify just keeps teelling everybody with this issue "do a clean reinstall of the app" like it was some magic wand supposed to solve the issue strainght away.

Been there, done that (as many other users have done, just search the forum) and it did not help me as it did not help the others.

As many others have said I'm seriously pondering cancelling my subscription and switching to another service (E.G. google play music...)

Same here in 2017 Last night downloaded music went to bed got up go to play my downloaded  need to download it again. if this carries on will be stopping my premium account with spotify I suggest we all stop paying them and then they will stop being a buisiness.

Lets crash spotify

is anyone from spotify reading this and doing something about it. seems to me they takes yer money and then dont care about customers. HELLO ANYONE THERE HELLO SPOTIFY WE ARE WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY>

It's 2017, and this problem is STILL happeneing! Currently going through it now and this is about the 4th time it's happened to me. Will Spotify fix this issue?

Its happening to me also. Before few day i installed new sd card and change storage place to sd. I copyied them but just now i'm downloading them again... ii'm at home on my wifi and still the speed is slow!!1 How can i fix this because i didnt understand it on previous posts

PS: I think that is not serious from you. Take some action, if you care about your clients and their loyalty to your brand 😉

I can not believe it's been four years and they still haven't solved this issue.. I've been using Spotify for about three weeks and it's deleted my playlists over 30 times.

Seriously, wh4t d4 f4k are you guys waiting for?

Well it didn't fix it because ive had to re download my music 3 times in the last week and a half and i do have the most recent update. Im online at least once a day playing my daily mixes or band radios so idk why this keeps happening. It's getting old fast and annoying. I also am about ready to cancel as well. I pay all this money to download music because where i live i dont get good cell service and i have to re download at least once a month except this month its been 3 time in a week and a half

It's July 2017 and it is still happening!

It just happen again, check this date and the first post date please

This is ridiculous. 4 years in the making and they still have the issue. I am seriously thinking of switching. I have 6gb of data per month and it takes it all since my downloads just disappear... I have 18 gigs of storage for spotify and theres only 1000 songs... I feel like im redownloading stuff that is already on my phone. Seriously ridiculous.

I came here just to say that I'm moving to any other competitor. Lets be real, if 4 years wasn't enough to solve this ridiculous problems, won't be in a few days just because I'm complaining.

Hi I am so frustrated that this keeps recurring & I am spending hours trying to find a solution reading, typing, searching articles & reviews!! I wish you had a contact email address. If I don't have any response Spotify will lose me as an ongoing paying customer for several years now.

I checked the number of songs I have less than 2'000 & I have heaps of space left on phone.

I have uninstalled app on my android & now Play Store only offers me 2 apps to reinstall including Free Music Streaming (I pay a monthy fee) & Spotify for Artists?

Nothing else!!? So now I am without music!!!!

My phone constantly updates to latest software automatically.

Can anyone help me PLEASE!

It's really playing up saying I am connected to more than 3 devices (which I am not) & will delete my music on phone before I uninstalled app & when on inspection it says I am connected to 3. One is my android last updated 26/11/17, second one last updated 27/11/17 (today) & an apple Iphone which I haven't used for the past 2yrs owning a Samsung Galaxy S5. It's only connected to android & a windows 7 laptop. I am too scared to delete anything like the 26/11/17 in case I lose all!?

Also it wouldnt allow me to log in saying password incorrect which I use regulary, so I reset that also with the SAME password & it worked! Go figure!?.

Yesterday Genius kept appearing & cutting off the music saying I am using an Iphone which is incorrect as it is an Android & nothing I did would fix the problem saying I had to join premium when using a mini boom box via wifi?

I havent received any notifications that things have changed & it has been playing up for a month now.

Perhaps I need to delete the iphone connection but seeing my laptop is connected to Itunes Im also afraid of losing my music there?

Appreciate very much some feedback here please guys.

Sal 🙂

Sorry to say, but I cannot belive that this ''fixed'' bug from 2013 still here.

Today all my downloads from my laptop were suddendly gone.... Again is in a Laptop, no SD card, brand new, lots of memory and I spent hours on this. The reason I gor premium was because of the offline option, cos I work on an island where I have no net.  Makes no sense to me, but if this keep on going Im afraid I will not keep on paying, even more, how can I even recommend u guys??

5 years and stil happening.
I downloaded 1809 songs on my PC 2 days ago and now they're gone. the songs just last for a day.

i did a chat with support about this issue for my galaxy 7, and they removed my offline device, and then i uninstalled and re-installed the app, as directed. I am now re-downloading.. hopefully this works.  I store my music on my sd card
