Why does spotify starts playing when my smartphone is restarted?

Every time i restart my phone spotify starts playing when the proces is complete. I can't find any possibility in the settings to turn this off.
Is this something that is controlled by the phone settings?
currently a Samsung S20 FE.

Thanks for reaching out. 

Just to clarify - does music start playing or does the app open/start downloading in the background?

You can also check your Bixby settings - In your phone's settings you can search for "Bixby routines" and select "My routines" at the bottom of the page. There you can check if there are any routines including Spotify and turn them off.

If that doesn't do it for you, can you let us know if you've tried a clean reinstall to clear any old files that might be causing issues?

It's the music that starts playing. 

The Bixby routines didn't fix the problem. 

I still have to try a clean install.

If you're sure that Spotify is not included in any of the Bixby routines, then please give the clean reinstall a try and let us know if it'll make a difference for you.
