Won't play songs, showing wrong song

My Question or Issue

Every once in awhile, my Spotify won't play the songs I choose, whether it be from My Library or from a search or wherever - instead it won't play anything but the Beach Boys! This happens no matter what device I'm on. I've logged out of my account on every device and cleared cache on Android, restarted the app, with the same results! It also will get stuck on a song in the Now Playing display, no matter what song is playing it will show that song. Help!

I'm having this problem too. Note 10+, Android 9.

I've gotten positive results from force quitting the app on my phone, clearing the cache, and reopening it. But I don't want to have to do this every time!

(note: I am on the beta version)

im having this exact issue also for a couple of weeks now....and why is it always beach boys!

just cleared cache and data, so will see if that makes a differance before i try a fresh install.

It just started doing it again and I'm about to lose my damn mind. Trying to go through these Pitchfork albums and ALL I'M GETTING IS THE BEACH BOYS!!!
